Leon Bistro

The LEON BISTRO on Main Street is a place where Chicoans and visitors can enjoy delicious food in a relaxing and gracious atmosphere. The restaurant is warm, elegant and spacious, and the service is attentive and professional. The entrées include hearty steaks and chops, fresh fish, chicken, and a wide assortment of locally-grown fresh fruits and vegetables. The food reflects the extensive experience and palate of Chef Ann Leon, who in the last twenty years has pleased diners in the San Francisco Bay Area and the Chico area with distinctive and tasty food.With LEON BISTRO, the neighborhood gains a restaurant that emphasizes California-bistro cuisine—familiar foods prepared with skill and verve, and incorporating interesting tastes of other cultures and cuisines.   

Some of the specialties on the menu are:  

  Crab cakes served with avocado cream and spicy mango coulis.  

               Sliced Portabello mushroom fritters served with a lemon aioli and fresh herb vinaigrette.  

                   Bacon-wrapped Black Angus filet mignon served with buttermilk garlic mashed potatoes, sautéed vegetables and a wild mushroom demi-glace.  

Burger Leon: ½ lb. Black Angus beef, grilled onions, crispy-fried cheddar slice, lettuce, tomato, pickle & BBQ sauce.  

We also serve Sierra Nevada and other beers on tap, and a fine selection of California wines.
